Dorin Baba visual artistMental Hologram - Video installation (2010, XXVI International Festival Sarajevo "Sarajevo Winter", Sarajevo) Mental Holograms represents a project that refers to the new possibility of loading holographic images into human memory. The hologram is defined as the reconstruction of the entire from different parts. Thus, we built an installation that attempts to visually reproduce our memory in a holographic system in which the whole becomes parts and the parts become the whole again. It is like the mirror that memorizes an image, then it is broken, and each shard contains a part of that image, but from different perspectives. The project questions the security of the information stored in our minds after the successful loading of human memory with holographic images and draws attention to the level of protection against memory falsification.
